1998-08-02 - 11:05:55 Monday, August 2, 1998 Beloved Diary, So much has happened since I last saw you. So much happened that I have forgotten most of it already. I saw Irma at Sears. Angie convinced her to work there again. Apparently she’s trying to get here life together and she’s showed that at work by being a great employee. Bitch. Also, while at Sears, I got a Sony CD player. Michael finally called me. We talked as if it was our first conversation. I don’t think he’s calling me back soon. I am, however, going to write to him to get my stuff back. On July 3 I went to Tijuana. I didn’t get to celebrate the fourth of July. Then, on July 8 I went to Las Vegas. It was too hot. On both trips I played Marvel vs. Capcom. My trip to Tijuana was very exciting because it was the first that I had gone back to my birthplace. The city has changed a lot but it looks very familiar. Although I did not get to see my family it was worth reliving my old life even for half a day. I wrote to Jason on Friday. I don’t know if he has moved yet. He told me that he was moving away to Maine. I wrote to Marcos Mendoza but I still need to write to Tom Rome and Ron Martinez. Also, Heidelyn has been to a lesbian meeting of, well, lesbians, I think. She has invited me to go with her and Laura, who I thought was Asian for no reason, to the Gay and Lesbian Center at the Village in Hollywood. I’m not sure if I should or want to go. And finally, I had a job for five, well, almost five, days. Mom is not happy, but then again, is she ever happy? Now I must look for another job, Miscellaneous: I am not going to register for fall quarter because of lack of money, what’s new? Water and electricity are still missing at home. Again, what’s new?
