Dearest Beloved,

Brother and I did indeed go to Costco. First, however, we went to Macy's in Glendale Galleria. It was really crowded. I didn't see any cute guys or handsome men. I wonder where they were, or maybe I wasn't really looking. My brother bought some Sketchers. I looked and looked and couldn't find any shoes to satisfy my style needs. I liked some Nathan Cole? shoes. In theory they would look great but when I put them on, they looked like someone stepped on my feet several thousands times.

Then we took the long way to Highland Park Swap Mall. If you live in Highland Park in Los Angeles, you know what I'm talking about. That place is not quite a swap meet or a mall, so neither name fits. Anyway, my brother got some curtains, tablecloths, or boxer shorts. I am still not sure what it was. I'll find out later when I do the laundry. He didn't even let me look around. At least the Asian guy that sold him the "unknown fabric" was worth looking at twice. Hehehe, he didn't notice I was checking him out. The guy was trying really hard not to make eye contact with my brother.

After two hours of Glendale, Highland Park, and driving in the hot sun on surface streets, we finally headed to Costco. I remember how I told Maria, my immediate supervisor, about hating to go to Costco with my aunt because I would never buy anything. At Costco you have to show your member card before you can even step into the store. There's a lot of large quantity items that nobody really needs. All I wanted was some shirts. My brother pointed out the section where they keep the clothes. He could have pointed out the MEN'S clothes so I didn't have go around every pile. At first I thought that this was going to be a waste of time because there's very little to choose from, but then I found some Fila shirts that will do nicely. My mother wanted me to pick up some white shirts for my dad. I got him two of the same design and the same design I got. I got three black ones and a baby blue one. I then continued to look around and found this pair of cargo pants with elastic. Yay, elastic!!! I wanted to pay for my stuff with my checks. The cashier that somehow knew my brother said that the name on the check had to match the name on the card. That was so stupid because I could have just had my brother pay with my check card and the cashier would have never known that it was my card. My brother paid with his check card for my things and then paid for his things with the same card. He got a shirt, socks, and V8 juices.

We got thirsty so when we went to Seven Eleven. I usally hate going to Seven Eleven, but I was really thirsty.

My brother wanted to go back home to rest and so we did.

Mother had food waiting for us. We all ate together and share each other's company. I really like spending time with my family when they're not fighting or yelling. When they pick on someone, it is usually me. Their favourite topics: me getting a better job, loosing weight, or doing more chores around the apartment. I didn't want to forget about paying my brother so I gave him a check for the shirts and pants.

Right now I'm organizing my bills, invoices, and important documentation.

Well, see you when I can.
