Dearest Diary,

Today I saw the new Pic “N” Slave commercials starring Jerry Van Dyke. Jerry is hiding behind a bush. It’s so funny because I have never seen such a clean store like in the commercial. Even the bag that was given the customer was perfect. I don’t blame Jerry for not going into the store. I, too, would have been embarrassed if anyone saw me shopping or working at Pic “n” Slave.

I called Jesse to tell him of my confusion. He didn’t seem too thrilled and said he had to go because he was busy. Maybe I should have told him in person the moment the commercial has finished its run. Maybe then he might have been able to understand how the commercial disoriented me. Too bad he only has time for his beloved, Rudy.
